Billy Carts for Lisieux Catholic Primary School

We were contacted by Year 4 school teacher Mr. Nathan Pace to assist with a project to prepare components for Billy carts in pack form so his students could work in teams to put them together. Our work was done in June and they completed their work during the latter part of the term and on Wednesday 2nd July we were invited to the school to witness the presentation of awards and view the completed units. It was great to see the enthusiasm and joy on the faces of the students at that time and they were then able to give the carts a spin outside. When our members get involved in projects such as this it highlights what the Men's Shed is all about, giving to the community while our members share their skills and fellowship.
