Visit by the Governor of Victoria 26th March, 2026

Last Thursday afternoon we had the honor and privilege of Her Excellency Professor the Honorable Margaret Gardner AC making a visit to our shed as part of her tour of the Surf Coast Shire. She was accompanied by the Mayor Libby Stapleton and they met with and conversed with members, did a quick tour of our facilities and then joined in with our Singers and band in a rousing rendition of " I am Australian". Gifts were then exchanged before she moved on to her next appointment. The visit was only for 30 minutes but it seemed less as it was an absolute pleasure to be in her company. She was also accompanied by members of her staff and we thank her Aide, Alice Gardiner for her work in making it all happen.
