Once again the Torquay Hotel provided the venue and we enjoyed the company of our local politicians and the Shire Mayor. The food was good and the entertainment was provided by our own Singing Group who emphasized the Xmas spirit with some well known carols and popular songs. Our Vice President, Tim Robinson was the master of ceremonies and did a great job in the absence of our President Trevor Sawyer who was unable to make it at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. We have had a number of enquiries for us to open outside of normal working week hours so that some men who could not make it on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning can attend and enhance their skills and also meet with other members for social connection. We are therefore going to open from 9.00am till 12.30pm on a Saturday starting on the 10th January, 2026. Anyone interested can simply come along or give us a call on 0473 189 825 if you want further information.

On the Tuesday 18th November, 2025 our Singing Group made a big impression on the members of the Probus Club of Torquay/Jan Juc at their monthly meeting held on this occasion at the TIA Hall instead of their usual meeting place that is undergoing renovations. They performed songs that everyone could sing along to and they did. Although they were missing a couple of members they still performed up to their high standards.
